Sifting through thousands of genetic mutations to find the single variant causing a disease requires a detective's mindset. You will investigate genetic variants found during patient sequencing, cross-referencing global biomedical databases and medical literature to classify their clinical pathogenicity.

• Evaluate and classify genetic variants according to established medical guidelines (such as ACMG/AMP standards).
• Conduct deep-dive literature reviews and mine population databases (like gnomAD, ClinVar) to assess the clinical significance of rare mutations.
• Draft clear, precise clinical summaries explaining why a specific variant is classified as pathogenic, benign, or a variant of uncertain significance (VUS).
